213 South Main Street, Fostoria, Ohio
The City of Fostoria is asking residents to keep all grass clippings or other yard waste out of the City streets and alleys. Please direct your mower away from the street and back onto your property and remove any clippings that may have been accidentally blown into the street. Stormwater pollutants such as clippings, leaves and other yard waste place a burden on the City’s stormwater system. The extra material can cause back-ups resulting in flooding and also send chemicals and other pollutants directly into our lakes and streams. Please help by mowing and blowing these items AWAY from the street. Also, please think about the motorcyclists. Any debris in the roadway may cause a hazardous condition for the cyclist resulting in injury or death.
