The City of Fostoria’s Annual Independence Day Celebration and Fireworks Display is slated for Saturday, July 6th at Foundation Park. Rain date set for Sunday, July 7th. 

Five-Star Baton Company will kick-off the festivities at 5:30 p.m. with a Baton Show near the amphitheater; music will be by Book that DJ.  Food and novelty vendors will be set up at the park. The Geary Family YMCA will host a “Vintage Baseball Game” starting at 6:00 p.m. at the park. The eighth annual Fostoria’s Got Talent contest sponsored by Superior Credit Union starts at 8:00 p.m. and welcomes Fostoria residents to show off their talents for a chance to win prizes. Registration is free and will be open at 7:00 p.m. to the first 20 Fostoria residents to sign up or pre-registration forms are available by clicking the image below:

The three age groups are as follows: 5-12; 13-17 and 18 and up. 

 The fireworks display starts at dusk.
