First Call For Help Fostoria has connected individuals and families who have basic needs to the resources available. The services of FCFHF are free, confidential and available to persons in Fostoria. FCFHF works closely with local and regional provider agencies to fill the needs, avoid duplication and streamline the process of helping others. It is a service of United Way of Fostoria.

Utility Payments:
All utility payments will be accepted by mail or by dropping off payments in the lock
box located on the side of the Police department doors. If there are any questions
related to water or sewer billing, please call the office during regular business
​hours at 419-435-2486.

Income Tax:
All income tax forms and payments will be accepted by mail. If there are any questions related to income taxes or to schedule an appointment, please call 419-435-6449. 

Zoning Permits:
All zoning inquiries should be directed to the Zoning Office at 419-435-9775. 

Cemetery:
Please call the office during regular business hours at 419-435-3113. 

Water & Sewer Inquiries/Emergencies: 
Please call 419-435-2486. 

Police:
The police department can be reached at 419-435-8573.
In case of emergencies, dial 911. 

Fire:
The fire department can be reached at 419-435-3206. 
In case of emergencies, dial 911.

Home Repair:

Great Lakes Community Action Partnership (GLCAP) administers the Community Housing Impact & Preservation (CHIP) Home Repair program on behalf of Seneca/Hancock/Wood Counties, Fostoria. CHIP provides home repair assistance for a variety of needs, including furnace replacements; water heater replacements; roof replacements; electrical upgrades; plumbing upgrades and ADA modifications. Municipal Building COVID Changes 

In accordance with recommendations from the Ohio Department of Health and
Governor of Ohio, the City of Fostoria will be limiting public access to the municipal building
and Fire Department until further notice. In-person meetings are by appointment only.
These precautions are to ensure the safety of the City of Fostoria residents and employees
of Fostoria.
